Hey elton, i think ive seen you do a timelapse, i know you did the 1200% speed up method, but i remember reading somewhere that the A1 can do a real timelapse... Have you done this yet? Or anyone for that matter?

The only way the A1 can do a real timelapse is with the Firestore in DV mode. It has no actual intervalometer mode and like I said, you can't do it in HDV because recording to tape has to have an actual GOP or Group of Pictures, so you can't specify recording a single frame.
Depending on how long of a timelapse you want I would either use a Firestore and record for hours, or simply record to tape (even multiple tapes depending on how fast you can switch them) and speed up in post for the effect.
