electronic level not showing up (7d)

I'm not sure why but the electronic level isn't showing up when i cycle through the info button. I'm sure this is how it used to show when i used it in the past. I went into menu and t under "info button display options" and all 3 options are checked. I haven't changed anything so i'm not sure why its not showing up. anyone have this prob? i have firmware 1.2.5 which i believe is the latest

update: further testes reveal i can only see if in photo mode when using the viewfinder (shows up on the back of lcd. Howeer i used to be able to see it in video mode. Dunno whats up.

I tried disabeling the option in "info button display options" and it still showed up in video mode but not in photo mode. LOL just the inverse that you experienced. I have the same firmware you do.
Only difference is that in vid mode you need to press the info button 3 times for the level to appear and in photo mode you only press twice.
 
yeh not 2 sure whats up. its not a huge deal because i have my tripod but it irks me that there could be something wrong with the camera (as small as it may be) which may just get worse.
 
I read in the manual that if AF mode is set to live mode the level can not be displayed. Does that help?
Actually that is only in the live mode with the face recognition (the option with the ;) face)
