FS7: Ejecting XQD cards

Sometime back I saw a thread discussing the difficulty of removing the XQD cards from the camera. The ejected card does not stick out far enough to grab hold of, no matter how you try to grab the card. It's very frustrating.

I may have the solution: When ejecting, push the card down all the way, then slide your finger off and let the spring eject it with it's full force (instead of keeping your finger on it as it ejects). The force of the spring will eject it a bit further, making it much easier to grab.

I do exactly the same. As you say it flicks the card out further, far enough to get your fingers around the card to grip it properly.

Stopped using WD40 and soap, got slippery fingers and couldn't get the right grip on these cards.

This is a great suggestion and works. I was missing the part about letting your finger slide off and giving it room to pop all the way out.

I think this design "fault" has been rectified in the Fs7 II

I was thinking of using a pre-glue label and glue a small tab to the XQD card. Then just pull the tab after pressing the
card in

Hold camera with lens up and shake untill card drops

Mainstreetprod's solution might work also.
