and also to capture the sound good, and not to have disturbing noise...

Because when you watch the results, you might get disorganised, mislead...if there's a lot of noise so you don't hear them very well.

And don't mind if you get someone like Sean Connery and have to tell him "sorry...you're to bad". You're the one who decides not them.

Auditions went great, didn't have a huge selection, (maybe 10 -13 or so) but it was evenly spread for both parts and we found two guys who fit the roles incredibly well. Just one more busy week ahead of us.....oh and then post.....:D
 
Just finished filming, we had two cameras which really cut our time which was great. We had to switch our location last minute because the weeds under the oak tree had grown a ton in two weeks and we couldn't get in there. It was raining pretty good out so I have yet to look at footage, hopefully it was worth it. The actors did great though, really nailed their lines.
 
And we actually have to do a few pickup shots still so probably no grabs until filming is completed....maybe late this week
 
Blog & Crew updated.....also thinking about a new poster now that we have some grabs to work with......

On first blush your grabs look good. Something I might be concerned about though, is that the guys look awfully clean. But then, again, that might not be a problem for your story.
 
Cool grabs! And how awesome is the Camcrane 200? I've been using one for about five years, it's been ridiculously useful.

The older guy is supposed to look rough, the younger one is supposed to be clean cut....we probably could have gotten the older guy a little rougher but I think it shouldn't hurt the story too badly....thanks for the input!
 
Wrapped shooting today! now on to post....hopefully have a rough cut in the next couple days. Also just for fun this is what we found after we finished a shot and went back to our gear
