EFS lens to GH2 adapter seems to not exist

Is there such a thing? Most adapters seem to imply only full frame lenses. I just bought a body only gh2. Basically, I'm trying to adapt my efs tamron 17-50mm onto it. After hours of research, I'm slowly beginning to believe that the "you can put any lens on the gh2" credo is just hype :-( I hope I'm proven wrong.

eleison - any inexpensive (~$20) EOS to m4/3 adapter will adapt EF or EF-S lenses (even if the specs are not clear on that point). I have one of these, and it works just fine to adapt my EF-S lens to the GH2. Your challenge will be aperture control, since EOS lenses have no manual aperture control.

One solution is an adapter with a built-in manual iris, like the Kipon (about $100). Another is an expensive (~$500+) Redrock Live Lens MFT adapter, which adds external power to the lens, allowing you to adjust the aperture of EOS lenses.

Congratulations on your new GH2!

Thanks and I appreciate the info. I just bought a cheap adapter from ebay. I hope it works out well. Too many conflicting reports on the internet. Oh well, its only $20. Btw, Vitaliy Kiselev did a review of the kipon and does not recommend it for the efs lenses. Like I say, too many conflicting reports. Probably the GH2 adapters work well with some efs lenses and not with others. At the end of the day, I'll probably pick up a m4/3 lens too just to keep things simple.
