Here are two Japanese youtube videos of it in action:

Have you tried this and if so, impressions?

Nope... I have Edius 5 ... Maybe I'll put Neo 2 on my other PC to test this on.
I'm sure this will be a part of Edius 6.

I use P-Pro CS4.2 for most of my work. If Edius 6 has better AVCHD support I may be tempted to switch back to Edius. I love editing in Edius, but like the integration of Adobe products.

Ooooh, what a bummer -- if you already have EDIUS 5, you can't install Neo 2. What's with that?

Ya.. I hear ya! Maybe because they share so much? I think you can put P-Pro and elements on the same PC... They aren't exactly the same though. Neo 2 and the full version are essentially the same program. One just has fewer features, but it's the same otherwise.

Nope... Wish it did but apparently they coded it specifically for Neo2. Probably because it'll be built in Edius 6 and hey need another reason for Edius 5 users to upgrade when E6 comes out.

Yeah, I went and read through the threads on the GV forum. Looks like for EDIUS 5 users, the choices are:
1) uninstall EDIUS 5, install Neo 2, and use the booster, or
2) just wait for EDIUS 6.

(not that they're saying the features of the booster will be included in EDIUS 6, but the closest I could find said pretty much "don't expect it until 6.0, maybe we'll do it then").

I loaded Bootcamp and NeoScene 2.5 on my 8 core MacPro Nehalem.

I have some 720.60p footage, and tried it out.

Given I'm a Mac person, can I ask how to import multiple mts files? You can use the FILE/Open clip command but that just opens the one clip and doesn't import it into a Bin.

How do I select and open multiple clips and import them into the project?

And where are the transitions accessed? I can use a default, but can't find more for testing.

Beyond that, it is RT at 720/60p for the most part.

No preset for anything 24p unfortunately.

Anyone that can help, thanks on these two issues to get me going.

Replied in the 150 forum.
Double click the bin.. add a group of files. You can also import an entire folder and it's sub folder if you like.

Effects/transitions are in the effects palette.
