Editing question about shooting with HVX and HDX900

I'm considering a shoot with my HVX and an HDX900. The HDX900 doesn't have P2 cards nor does it shoot in 24PN. The question is : Can I shoot the HVX in 24PN and mix it with the footage from the HDX900 in editing? ( I'm using Final Cut Pro.) Or do I have to shoot the HVX in 24PA as I would shoot the HDX.
This, of course would not be a problem if the HPX2000 were out already.

Once captured into FCP, you can use Cinema Tools to telecine the HDX900 footage to 24fps. Can the HDX900 do progressive at any frame rate?
