Editing C300 footage in Final Cut 7

I'm new to cutting C300 footage. Whats the best way to bring the files into fCP 7? I shot C Log mode and just want to make sure I don't screw anything up.

Use the log and transfer function.

Transcode to Pro Res using log and transfer.
