Ease your pain - MUSIC VIDEO Check it out!

I think that some of the shots were to overexposed unless thats what you were going for and it seemed the song and lips were semi out of sync just my 2 cents though.

agree w/ sync being just shy of 'right'.

rough rack focus ~1:03

Thats all I got.. good job man!

Not if you're the director. Sometimes I ask my self why do I even comment on peoples productions SMH

Hmm SMH, this is why people post here....so they can get feedback on their videos. This being my FIRST one, I feel that it turned out pretty well. Its to bad that you have such a HARD time commenting on peoples work, remember that yours is your own opinion and you should keep negative comments to yourself. Constructive criticism is one thing Destructive criticism is another. BTW I can't seem to find anything you have posted on here for footage.... have a wonderful day! ;)

The Video did come out good, minus all of the static shots. You need to learn how to take critique if you think you are going to get anywhere in this industry, because a Real producer would chew you alive.

If this is just a hobby for you then fine, I guess... But if you really want to make a living from this pay attention to all comments being made.

Good Day

The shots are good technically, but because you have a lot of different styles and tones going the video as a whole lacks emotional cohesion. It's not bad, just obvious you're finding yourself here, doing all different styles of video shows you're hungry and excited to try stuff and find what your comfortable with and you shouldn't be faulted for that, but for the video's sake you need to pick one style. You're doing every style competently enough I think, it's just emotionally and tonally incoherent when you have them all together. For example: The bling shots of the guy in front of the motorcyle, even though are shot well, are out of synch emotionally with the song, imo. The film scratches and crossfades are cool, but stop and 2 totally different videos are intercut with it, and I have no idea how these events are influencing each other.

Just for me, all the stuff at the beginning with the girl and film sctaches and stuff are gold, it fits with the songs erotic tension and longing, but then it falls through a wormhole into a totally different universe that's not as interesting. So I don't know, maybe switch the audio and visuals, so every time he's singing about her we see her in the film world, and when she sings we see him in his boring static world, though the lip synching would prevent that you probably get I'm saying; that the video would be more interesting if it wasn't so on the nose-we hear the guy singing so we show him singing.

I agree, with the out of context footage. This is the artists 3rd video and my first one with him. I tried to sell him on the idea of one shot with him singing (rapping) and shot it six ways from sunday, then edit in the girl and her bits to give it more of a story. However he had it in his mind that he needed bling shots and house shots etc. No matter what I suggested he insisted in having these in, so as a first attempt and needing to get a video for the portfolio to get other interest I went along. The beginning was my idea and really does capture the erotic side, but we have already totally rework the formula for the next video. Stay tuned for that!

Thanks for the constructive feedback!

By the way here is his first and second videos that were not done by me. Could you give me a feeling if the quality/direction and overall feel is better in mine. Just need to grow.

Thanks!
