DVXuser not as lively

Just thought I'd let you guys know that Blue is also having problems accessing the site - i was talking to him a day or so ago. Maybe that's changed by now, not sure.
 
I've tried connecting on a few different machines....i get shite...i even tried the IP thing....nada...

but my fricken treo can connect just dandy!

whens the service getting fixed? I actualy needed some info the other day and I couldn't get shizzle...anyway...
 
OK...one more thing to do (if you're on a Windows machine, anyway) if the direct IP address and/or HOSTS file edit doesn't work right off.

Go to a command prompt and type nbtstat -R and ipconfig /flushdns and try again.

Might help. Might not.

Ok. We're star-free now. One less trivial thing to worry about. Although, if we still had 'em, i'd give Dan one for his help on editing the HOSTS file, that got me back online. Rich--have you tried that?

for the last 3 days my daughter has been randomly saying "daddy.. i think the stars are gone" its really strange.. like some sort of message from beyond. when i ask her where they went or why they left, or where they are.. she just says the same thing. its had me perplexed for sure

now .. the stars are gone here. i wonder what she'll say today?


.. weird stuff in my house. myself being the weirdest.
 
fwiw... I have been unable to access DVXUser.com... (let alone log-in)... for the last 4 days. I assumed I was banned for (???).

For whatever reason, I was able to access the site this morning only to find everyone questioning people's whereabouts. They're probably stuck outside the door like I was. :(
 
Maybe we need to get out a mass email explaining the problem and suggesting some temporary solutions until AT&T gets all their routers back up. I'd hate for people to think the site has gone away, or that they've been banned. :happy:
 
Couldn't access since last Friday. It was an interesting break from the addiction. I actually learned how to read. :)
 
you guys should think about mass emailing members to let them know its not dead...and everything is ok...

its like when a friend hasnt called you in awhile...and you start to think bad things....

i started thinking...man, maybe it got shut down for some wierd copywrite thing...or panasonic shut it down for some reason...i dunno...i thought you were dead...

Oh wait... I know... let's send out an e-mail message. We can send it to all the registered users and let them know that the system is up, but that there is a hardware issue. We can even offer a few workarounds.

How bout it? Who wants to take this on?

sorry man, i thought i had read all the messages in this thread...while crusing around on my little 3inch screen on my cell phone i must have missed it. should have gone back once i got the host file all done up....:huh:
