DVX100B resale value?

Hi All,

I was wondering what your thoughts are on selling a 3 year old DVX100B with about 300 head hours on it. It functions like new and has practically no signs of wear and tear. Has all the accessories that came with it as well.

Since the demand for SD camcorders are becoming less and less. Does anybody have a good guesstimate as to how much I can sell it for?

Scan through the DVXUser marketplace. Many are posted used, and they sell for a pretty wide range of prices, depending on the condition.

I just bought a DVX100B.

The range in price is huge. On Ebay a used one with a couple hundred hours plus some accessories like battery, bag, and UV filter, seems to go for around $1500-1600. Though there is one on there now, an open box, never used, with 24 bids at less than $1000.

I bought mine on Craigslist. 23 hours, all standard accessories, UV and ND filter, hard and soft case, extra generic 5400mah battery, the DVX book, two fire wire cables, and 6 unopened 63min tapes. And the old Magic Bullet software which I think came with the camera. $1350. I feel like I got a pretty good deal.
