DVX100B in stock!

The 100B version of the book says so right on the cover. There shouldn't be *any* DVX100Bs shipped with the prior version...

actually, alot of MiniDV decks/cameras can record DVCam on MiniDV as well.. but I know what your saying.
 
It was in response to the HVX itself. I mean, yes there's DVCAM and also HDV getting recorded on miniDV tapes. But not from the HVX -- miniDV = miniDV and that's all.

Yeah, tell me about it.... Well, just as long as the camera works and all. Its all good.... but I wouldn't have mind the cleaner but I would like the updated DVX book/dvd of the new functions of the DVX100b... Hopefully someone can help me with this issue....

run run run run heisest.. all ya gotta do is phone them and try and buy that camera and you will find out its a scam.
 
Hey Guys...Wonderful sight with loads of helpful information. I've been lurking on this board for quite a long time and as a result I am going to make my first leap into the DVX world and get a cam from EVS this week. Cannot wait!!!

Is the bundle with the Magic Bullet and barry's book still being offered? I looked on EVS site but could not find it.
 
I PM'd Jan, and maybe she'll send me some 100B books to send out to folks who got 100A books. Maybe a factory mixup.

As far as the cleaning tape is concerned, the factory surprized me and decided to put the regular recording tape in and then forgot to tell me. Sorry guys and gals.

I just found a dealer here in Oz with the DVX100BE / DVX102BE (I really don't get the two model numbers) and I don't mind saying I'm tempted.

Panny shooter from way back with a DX100E (yes that old thing) decided I needed to upgrade, so I've been lurking for a while - and then joined when I got the HVX buzz. After playing with a DVX of a friend of mines, I thought it was awesome - almost went off and bought an XL2 - (EOS DSLR still shooter, and the DVcreators vid shows HEAP of cool features) but the weight, price and timing (the brink of affordable HD) swayed me - and the HVX brought me back to the "Panny" fold.

Funny enough the DVX100B is actually tempting me to just jump right in there for a year or two before hopping on the HVX parade.... but then - I think that if I wait a little while till early next year (and invest a huge amount more money) then the HVX is going to be a better camera for longer..... I just want to start shooting with a good camera again without rental fees!

Anyway - internal dialogue turned off - I'll go back and pretend I'm impartial to all this- *laugh*

As a pointless query - I wonder if the PAL HVX200 will be the HVX200E or the HVX202E?
