DVX100B in stock!

Excellent. I don't see it listed on their site yet, any idea what they're charging?

Also, is there any official word on whether any extras (book, tapes, battery) come with the $200 rebate that i've heard about?
 
They just arrived today, so I'm not surprised it's on the site yet. As for pricing and contents, I don't know the official bundle details, although I can now say that yes, the DVX Book/DVD is bundled with it, and it's been updated to address the DVX100B's new features. I believe the Magic Bullet Editors software comes with it too, but that's based off of what Abel Cine posted; I don't have firsthand knowledge about that.

I'd recommend just calling Birns and asking them about what deal they're offering. I know the MSRP is $3995 but I don't know what their selling price is.
 
Does anyone know if the rebate on the A model has been extended? I remember Jan saying that it will be extended until they run out of stock, but there is no official confirmation on the site (or anywhere else).
 
anyone know when the DVX100B (PAL) comes out, i guess it's called the DVX100BE?

the DVX100AE is down to about £1950 in the UK, hope the B doesn't carry a huge surcharge.

October 31st! Not a day sooner or later.

I guess this means the HVX will surely be out by December 31st.
 
If that is a question bilgami, then I would say 'yes'. Most people I have noticed at EVS who have been hired to shoot weddings do their darndest to shoot in 16:9, primarily because it seems like the new part of every newlywed home is a flatscreen wide LCD or plasma. And what better to watch on those than, the Wedding Video! So that is what higher-paying couples are asking for. :)

Harrumph! Knock on wood please! :laugh: Yes that was excellent timing and delivery on her part, and we are really hoping for exact timing on the HVX's. :thumbsup: I cancelled my vacation....
 
Rush, do you take Canadian orders? If you do, how is the warranty honored? Do I have to ship it back to you for repair?

That is correct, the DVXuser price before rebate is $3440, and you get $200 back, making the final price $3240. B&H is selling at $3599, so final price is $3399, which is close to our standard price before rebate :)
