I don't think this is with a 35mm adapter.. it's the DVX zoomed all in..

nice grabs.. are they color corrected?

and one more thing.. do you shoot in widescreen?
cause If you are.... don't... you'll loose so much of the quality..

That's debatable... but plenty of people are shooting widescreen on the DVX, with results that are more than satisfactory. Yes, you do loose pixel space (unless you have the 16:9 adapter), but many times it can be the way to go.

i like the car one. i shoot squeeze and i never really noticed much quality loss compared to 4.3
then again i dont really shoot 4.3

I'm betting they almost only shoot widescreen.. so of course you don't notice because you have nothing to compare it with.. Just try shooting a scene in 16:9 then the same scene in 4:3 and see for yourself.. that's what I did, and now I just feel like I want to warn people about it..

(btw.. I'm not pissed or anything.. not trying to start a fight..)

Interesting grabs.

So tommetass are you saying that if one wanted to go widescreen then the best way would be to shoot 4:3 and then upress it to 16:9 in post? (If we're talking about the DVX, since it only have squeeze mode)?

I likey the squeeze personally. But I have not done much experimentation.
