Try AbelCineTech or B&H, both are authorized Panasonic dealers and won't rip you off.

When I began shopping a dvx I looked at some of the "deals" out there. One place had brand new in the box 100B for $1600. I called to ask about the details----the cam was "body only" i.e. no lense. The battery charger was $500. >LOL<
Suddenly, I felt like I was in a school of fish swimming past a piece of bait on a hook.
They really did do me a favor.
I used the panasonic website to check authorized dealer status by zip code and never looked back.
I ended up paying $2879 (after reabate) at Willoughbys---their phone price was actually less than advertised. The only snag was that they delayed shipping for 10 business days, even though my cashiers check cleared in two.
BTW---if you attempt to do business with AbelCine NY, GOOOOOOOOD LUCK!
I left three phone messages for two different poeple in the pro-video dept over several days saying I am ready to buy, how much for shipping, do you take cashiers checks, will you please call me, etc. After waiting two full days for a response, I gave up and called Willoughbys --- got a person on the phone right away. Able never returned my calls. AbelCine NY might be Able to do business but they sure dont seem to be willing. Won't waste my time with them again.
