Well...At least we know what "Guest's" opinion is.
Haha... Chill Andrew... He probably does not mean any harm... Seems familiar, though
Yes the images are awesome, just to add, someone seemed to say they were the best images in terms of lighting... Well, no doubt about it. It was a pro set, it was professionally lit by a pro DP with top dollar equipment. But the camerawork wasn't less impressive, very good. I guess it just prooves that if you treat it like a real camera, the dvx certainly has a go on straight to video performances. Pretty awesome, considering. Yes it was damn fun...

Why yes...it does. So much for my attempt at 12am humor/sacasm... :-X
HD or film... ouch! NOPE! Its all MINIDV baby! And its all from the amazing DVX100A! I have custom settings for my cam... So i dont use the F1 to F7 defults.. I changed them alll!
For this shoot was obviously filmed in 24P, GAMMA @ "cine-like_V" and MATRIX @ "cine-like". The rest was all on defult!
For the GAMMA I usally also do use cine-like_d or regular cine-like! I Also play around with all the other settings... detail level, V detail, DLT coring, chroma level, color temp and etc.
I posted this stuff alittle while ago on DVxuser.com from my fake commerical i was doing... and i used the same settings as above. Gives the same effect... Hope that helps!
Mr. Speedbumps... k... wat i do to piss u off? Im just sharing my DVX footage. Exchanging information, tips, tricks, problems and learning form others. Ive learned alot from dvxuser.com...
Ozan, I think he was kidding... since your footage was incredible... a joking/jealousy comment. Unless there's something i'm missing, it wasn't meant in malice...
Great looking footage. The fact that, as was pointed out, it was shot on a full blown professional set with great lighting etc. obviously didn't hurt (not to downplay the nice choice of shots and angles). The shot of the fencers seen from behind some kind of scaffolding or the shot of the boxer's shadows on the ground were nicely thought out.
