DVX100 and VX2100

Today I compare My DVX100 and VX2100
I found out that my vx2100 is very beautiful color

but DVX100 color is not as beutiful

Other then iris . wb , gain

is it I should Adjust the scene

How DO I make the best of the camera

Can I swith to auto to get the best of and compare

Indoor and outdoor

Please help
 
The dvx is a lot better than a VX. If you want those bright saturated colours from your VX then change the scene file settings or edit in post.
 
yeah the vx has a very similer footage look to it like the dvx. I always though about getting it over the dvx but the vx doesn't have 24p and xlr audio imputs so I had to skip it.
altho the image sure does look great!
 
If you like the colors in the 2100 better, we need more information than "it's more beautiful" to help you tweak the DVX colors to make them similar. Can you describe better what you like about the 2100 footage? Saturation?

what is meaning of F1 , F2 .....

when should I use them
 
It may be more important to learn what aperture, exposure, and f-stops are before trying to tackle your camera's other settings. Knowing how to use these features are absolutely critical if you want to get the best image possible out of your camera.

and buy the DVX book....
