DVX Wide Angle Squeeze?

I need advice on using DVX 'squeeze' mode with a wide angle adapter.
I need to shoot a major project in 16x9 'squeeze' mode. I also need to use a wide angle adapter due to tight spaces, framing, etc. Possibly a Century .6x or .7x. Are there issues I need to be aware of in combining one of these WA adapters on a project shot in 'squeeze' mode? (i.e. will my image be super distorted? A greater possibility of vignetting?) I need help from you experienced pros out there. I have the DVX 100B. Thanks.

squeeze mode isn't actually wider then any other mode as far as field of view is concerned. I believe it changes the pixel aspect ratio to 1.2 as opposed to the standard .9, which enables you to edit the footage natively in a 16x9 timeline. I could be very wrong about this, but I am positive that you will not having any ill effects shooting squeeze with a wide angle lens.
