man, you got some of the best looking grabs I've seen in a while. It helps when you got good locations and costumes. Was this shot in Malta? That's a pretty place! Here in the west side we got nothing but sliver garbage cans and stray ghetto cats. Good stuff there!

The 3rd grab, with the rays of sunlight, is incredible. One of the best shots ever posted. Beautiful looking film. Well deserved win. Congratulations!

So, what's the story about? hehehehehe

Wonderful! The locations are spectacuar, and the quality of the shots superb. This is great stuff! Let us know how we can see the finished movie.

Theos, tell us about your color correction.

1- How did you achieve that crispness?
2- Did you push the shadows towards green or blue? I noticed it in some of the shots.
3- What software did you use for CC?
4- What did you do to keep the unit of the CC (hope you understand) along the movie?

Wow, those grabs are incredible! The one at the castle is very impressive, purely because of the location and the costumes etc, and the horses! The one in the forest with the rays of light is unbelievable, did you create that effect somehow or was it just how it was on the day?

Terrific work.

I HAVE TO KNOW HOW YOU LIT THAT...It's...beautiful...

Well, first you create a giant ball of gas, and keep it burning with an internal fision reaction. Once you get that created and stabilized, you need to launch it out into space a great distance from the earth (this is because the heat will be too intense and cause massize, widespread destruction).

Then, just start filming!

LOL! Larry R that was funny. I think I am going to start experimenting and use your technique.

UsH! period work... The grabs are awesome... can't hardly wait to see some clips.

Was the dust/haze that caught the sunlight in the woods just naturally there or was it reinforced somehow with fog machine etc?

Absolutely beatiful. Well done!

I'd love to hear how you went about shooting and scheduling to capture the lighting that way.

The shoot was in total 4 days worth of shooting working around school kids availability weeks from their exams which landed us in a 3pm to 5 pm shooting window ie magic hour . . . we did that twice and fit in the woods sequences, the fog was artificial, a sfx guy pulled of fog & blood on the day.

Malta is steeped in historical locations . . . the knights of Malta left many fortifications in the shape of beautiful stone cities, and the other stuff dates back to the oldest erected structures recorded, we have the first temples ever built that still stand today.

The costumes were all from the theatre companies we have localy and were rented out on a pls dryclean & donate basis. A trailer should be a good idea but we are quite washed out after such a hectic race to get it done and need to get back to some money earning business.

Thanks for the comments . . . if anyone could host it I would gladly upload it, but my hosting buddy has warned me not to go there with this one as I have inflicted bandwidth damage on him in the past and I have to behave now ;)
