Dvx not showing input video signal

Hey guys,

I am having a weird problem with the dvx here....someone rented it from me and when it came back it shows a blank screen.

However, it still receives an audio signal.
Now when it starts up there are a series of audible beeps, then the blank screen and the audio channels flickering.

I assume the audio still works. Now here's the weird part....

I can't zoom, manual focus, manual iris...though there's is a flashing ND1/8 sign on the screen ( even though i have the ND filter set on off)

Has anyone lost input video signal on the DVX and fixed it within the camera's settings or do i have to send it to be fixed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Have you tried hitting the camera's rest button?

yeah i tried that ( is there something else i haveta do other than pressing it? )...it's a strange problem.

no image and this flashing ND 1/8 light.....
