DVX-Emocore Music vid - Never Bled

I like the vid, the grass and dof is excellent, it's just that the singer bothers me, the middle breakdown is awesome and shows that the singer and band have a lot of potential.

Really strong video. definately not my style of music but I enjoyed the shots and editing. I also agree that the contrast of the green grass and the clouds was great. About being worthless...people want what they see on TV. Sometimes they want more but sometimes. i wasn't crazy about the screaming singer in the face of the boy writing. But that's personal taste. Strong piece.

This is by far the worst song, dare I call it that, which I have ever heard. Made me wish I were deaf.

The cinematography was excellent!!!!! I love the camera movements

I think the rain coming in was a blessing in disguise, giving you the contrast in the sky with the dark clouds.

Great job on the video!

The singer that was possessed by the DEVIL needs to get the boot! He ruined the whole song! Why do they think people like that ****? The parts w/o the DEMON SPAWN were great.

I am a split personality today...good cop/bad cop.

I had to be honest.

After a second viewing, is there a reason you don't show the other lead singer singing? The first minute is full of the "man in black", but the second half never has any close-ups of the "man in white." It would be nice to see his face the first time he sings so people have a reference point. At about a 1:26 into the video there's such a drastic change in pace and style, maybe you need to let the audience know that a different man is singing. For all we know it's the same singer, he's just taken his meds. :)

Other than that it's pefect. It's a really good video. Very well done with some great shots.

Just my .01 cent. My cents aren't worth as much as other people's cents.

Sorry to break it to ya Toaster, but these guys aren't breaking any new ground music-wise, this type of sheeite was on Head Banger's Ball 15 years ago. The real tragedy is that they have someone in the band who can really sing. They should've swapped and constrained Tazzie to the middle section to give it that "edgy" feel and let the real singer sing on most of the song. I think it was that vocal style (gurrrawwwalakdjkkka) that really sounded the death knell for metal in the first place. It didn't take off then, and I really don't ever see it having widespread appeal. Sorry guys....such a shame to see talent squandered. Anyhow, Toaster, nice work on the video, the ominous cloud shots looked great! The shaky cam stuff had the right feel (not overblown). The snake in the grass feel added a unique touch to the music video genre. (very tough to do anything original these days). Sorry about the harshness on the music, but with the sound off it's a great video!

The devil guy is scary...it pierces my 20 year old ears. As everyone has said, he has gotta go. Tell them as politely as possible...

Just make a sample video...put a simple title "This doesn't work" and have him screaming for 5 seconds, then have another title saying "This works" And have the other guy singing and mask out the devil guy.

Then have the whole band beat him up.

Nah, I'm kidding...great video. I love that low dolly shot...but some of the performance shots were really repetitive. Still a strong showing. Congrats, I'm almost done my music video which has taken far too long.

Haha

I feel compelled to say "Yeah; that singer sucked" in case it wasn't clear the first time. Bradbro is so right on; I too remember this on HeadbnagersBall and this was in it's decline. It never worked in Metal and never will. Well said. Nothign on the VID.

Your vid is super nice; but really; sometimes you just gotta ask "Who is into this ****?" At least Punk could be understood. That is garbage. Truly crap on a stick. They should have a meeting; fire homeboy; keep guy who can actually sing and go in a different ALT direction.

Like the vid though!

That music video was good, though I can't stand that kind of music, especially the screaming parts !long live Ween and The Talking Heads!, anyways, I loved the shaking of the camera in the beginning. The location was great. Keep making those vid's.
