San Francisco Boot Camp?

San Francisco Boot Camp?

Any chance of heading up north for a DVX boot camp? If so, will offer to take a few out sailing on the Bay before or after.. Will sign up now if the date is not booked.

One question, if no chance of SF, which I'm sure will be popular, is the LA BC for two days?

Thanks,
Stuart

hi jerred. LA is long away from indonesia, jakarta my city.
when it would be dvx bootcamp in jakarta?
thanks jerred

In theory, we'll consider anything, but there would have to be a guarantee of a large turnout before we could go somewhere like that. It's expensive to put on and that's quite a ways away (as you know).

Yes there's still room, but no there's not a specific printed syllabus. Something we should do, but just haven't gotten to yet...

Im still waiting to know when te HVX bootcamp DVD is available since there is no chance I can attend any. THey have workshops here in the land of Panasonic but guess the language? Whilst I am about 70% fluent its just a pain in the a$$. interestingly enough here in Japan the JVCHd100 is selling for about on average $2000 USD more than th HVX.

The bootcamp was great! I highly recommend it to anyone. They put out tons of great information and I don't believe anyone stumped them with a question! Even handed out a nice little swag bag on the way in, what's not to like! It was great to screen some footage then get the information on how it was shot directly from the shooter, that sort of show and tell can't be beat in any school. The "optional" Juniper sound tutorial/tour was a real eye opener, personally I had no idea the ammount of work that goes into sound post on a major feature film, I have a ton of respect for those guys. If I ever manage to get an HVX I'll go right back,

Chris
