I dont know if any of you have been aware of our little HVXbootcamps we have been having for the last while.. but a few people have requested a DVX bootcamp.. We can pretty much have this the day after our next HVX bootcamp in LA on July 29th.

Bootcamps are pretty fun, Me, Barry Green, Evin Grant, David Jimmerson etc. all do our little thing and everyone learns something. From Pre- to Post we cover all aspects of filmmaking with the DVX100. you can get a little overview over on hdbootcamp.com to see what we do with the HVX.

So.. ill leave it up to you guys.. interested?
 
Definitely interested in the DVX Bootcamp. So do you mean you would do it on the 30th? I looked at the hdbootcamp site and it looks like the HD bootcamp is two days. What would the cost be?
 
Hello Jared. I'm extremely new to cinematography and would be very interested in a DVX Boot Camp in Los Angeles on July 30th. I will be in L.A. the entire previous week attending a week long seminar and would gladly stay over to attend anything that will make me more acquainted with this wonderful camera. All I need to know is where, when and how much. BTW - Thanks to all who contribute to this valuable resource. I'm restructuring my schedule to take advantage of the varied insights and information provided by this forum. Keep up the good work.

I am wondering if you could make a dvd ,that we could purchase, of your bootcamp for those of us that can"t attend?
 
yes we are working on a dvd.. nothing beats the first hand experience.. but we know some people just cant make it
 
As long as the cost takes into account that most of us who have recently bought the DVX did so because we could not afford the HVX and are on a tighter budget, I'll be there.
 
I really appreciate the opportunity to get hands-on training from tried and true experts with this camera. I also applaud the forthcoming DVD for future reference and that my daughter, who freelances in DC and other east coast cities with her 100a, will have a visual resource to refer to in the future. Thanks again for organizing this training.

when you do the the october hvx bootcamp, how about torturing yourself with a few extra days here for a dvx bootcamp?
