DVX 100a - mini 35 nikon lenses.

Re: DVX 100a - mini 35 nikon lenses.

I rarely post here unless the work is true art.In my opinion you probably have the best work posted here.I don't care what you did tecnically be it in the shooting or post as i dont analyze them that much, the only thing i care about is you did good art.You can have the best shot picture but contentless work is nothing more than a daily chore. The contents of your work stirs the mind as any good art does. You have a mind of an artist and you have my respect.

Thank you so much for the respons! I'm mostly intressted in form, art and music. So to hear this feels great! This kind of expereremation is what i would love to work with all the time. I use technical things to get closer to the image i see in my head. So the more i know and learn on the way the closer i get to what i see in my head. That's why i'm looking around on this forum for ideas and other creative people. Thanks again!

Here you go my friend.
This is from the feature film i did the lighting on. I'ts a low budget movie and i had to come upp with all kinds of ideas how to lit stuff.
I'm sorry i can't post the images from the camera but the movie is not released yet and i could get in truble :)
Both ones are for night shots. first interior. we tried to get so it looked like the light hit from the lamps and the actors could move over to one and other. 2 800w, frosted, and a the didolight my best freind :) camera on the far left.
Next one is a taxi and street lit with 2 2000w, frosted. from a skylift. we fixed for  free :) The neighburs loved that were jerking it around in the middle of the night, and having light shine truw there windows at 4 a clock.

hahha i thought that remark would come much earlier. I love chris cunninghams work and flex is awsome. When i came upp with the idea and shoot it i dident' think about it but in editing i saw straight truw my self, i hade been inspiered alot of his ideas. I love his way of editing and filming he is buy far the best in the area. It's not a rip of more of a homage to his work, i'm trying to learn new stuff and cunningham is top of the line. Pretty fun for me that you remarked on that, then i have come a tiny little bit closer to figuring this film stuff out : )

i diden't change any speed in any clip. just changed the shutter speed and hand movement :)

I'm going to a 35mm film course starting tommorow. So now that i have lerned how to pull focuses with 35 i'm going to learn to film with the real stuff :) that's more fun. Then wait another 10 years to afford 35mm film out side of school :)

I really enjoyed this film. Yeah its artsy but thats cool and it was done well. That last shot is amazing the revolving outdoors shot. Even the font used for your titles was really nice
