DVX-100/XL-2 cameras intercutting in scene

I recently started a behind the scenes documentary of a film being shot which will run into February of next year. I started shooting on a DVX-100 and would like to bring a second camera in on the job. I originally intended to buy another DVX-100 but am now considering an XL-2. I am shooting in 24p mode and am wondering if anyone has done any tests on how well these two camera will match if intercutting a scene.
