DVI to HDMI connector

[falcon418]

Is there such a thing as a DVI to HDMI connector?

Might need to convert a DVI out from my graphics card to an HDMI input on lcd flat screen.

Yes there is.

I won't give you a bad time about not googling it, because you are also a Pacific Northwesterner.

for example.

Make certain that you ascertain with you want an 18 pin single link DVI or a 24 pin DL DVI connector at one end.

OK, well as a PNWer as well, let me ask you this, can you use one of these adaptors in a pinch with a set-top box or a camcorder with HDMI out to monitor on an apple cinema display or equivalent? Would that work?
