DVCProHD Decoder

The following notice has been on the Serious Magic website, DVCProHD Decoder page, since *about* the time we saw the news about the Adobe acquisition:

"Currently, there is a known issue with MXF files recorded using the 30PN and 24PN format. The video works fine, but the audio will not play back correctly. This is a timing issue associated with the native frame rate, and we hope to have it corrected shortly."

I have DV Rack HD 2.0 (and the patch), which includes the Decoder. Does anyone know if there has been any forward progress in this area?

Thanks.

They are testing it, that's all I know. I'm as surprised/disappointed as you are that a fix hasn't been released yet, I'm sure the buyout by Adobe has gummed things up.

Luckily I use Edius for editing and am thus not dependent on the decoder, I can just drop the DV Rack 2.0 HD files into the timeline and edit.
