DVC Pro HD on Powerbook

I have a 1.67 mhz Powerbook. Can I edit DVC Pro HD on this as long as I have a fast enough drive? If so, will firewire 800 do? Or will it have to be SATA?
 
You should be able to. Do some tests before you have to do anything where you need it done right away.
