DV or HDV tapes for HDV?

I've just ordered a Canon xh-a1 and was doing some research on what tapes to get for it. Whatever brand I get I'll stick to it, but there seems to be no definitive answer as to whether or not a premium quality (AMQ) DV tape is acceptable for HDV. Most references and forums seem to indicate that theres very little difference. Anyone have any preferences?
 
Regardless of which you choose, just stick to that brand and make. Switching different tapes will slowly kill your heads and mechanics.
