Rrrrrrrrrr. What a hottie!! She can pose for me anytime:grin:

no doubt, Evinsky's got the magic eye.
Rich Lee's got some nice shots on his photoblog too.
Btw Rich, I dig the entire set of the hallways, as with the previous set, the 17mm wide shots have a nice finish to them. If you don't mind me asking, where were those shot?

Lovely Eye, Lovely Lovlies. kudos to the bloodline. Too bad my Uncle's didn't rub off on me, tho I still use his steel tripod. He shot Playboy in the 70s.

You can just sift through thousands of images and soak in the creativity.

Thanks for the incredible resource evinsky, I'll sign up based on the creativity of your photos alone!

Rush, that looks like a Cinetech follow focus under the HVX. Haven't looked at each of the photos thoroughly yet, but does that mean Cinetech also has the base plate for the HVX-200? Otherwise, mahalo for the reporting and photos!

Damn Evin!!! That's some incredible photography there.... you're flickr page just earned a bookmark in my browser. Fantastic work man!!!

Oh, and Steindj, I agree. That girl's a total hottie.

Gross :)
But thanks for looking. Still photography is a great way to develop you creative problem solving and visual story telling skills. It's indespensible to my filmmaking.

Mahalo Oz. You're welcome. Yes that is a Cinetech follow focus. I asked them to come over the first day of DVexpo and meaure the HVX, then fabricate a base and focus ring. They did it that night  The next day they came over and assembled that whole rig. Notice their silver focus ring on the HVX's focus ring, and the wooden focus pulling handle, which also has an extension coming down to the tripod handle so you can pull focus from the handle base.

The follow focus is very expensive as compared with other DV accessories, but like a good mattebox, it transcends generations of cameras. You can easily keep follow focus, mattebox, mic, and lighting for 30 years. Especially the cinetech with its swing-arm that can reach full size cameras as easily as a camcorder.
