Duel Adapter

[olemgr]

It is hard to tell if the P2 to Express Card adaptor found at Sewell http://sewelldirect.com/Express-Card-to-PCMCIA-Adapter.asp is the same as the DualAdapter from Duell Systems http://www.duel-systemsadapters.com/?

Anyone using either of them, or other adaptors doing the same? What is the verdict?

Quite a bit of discussion here on the Duel Adaptor. I use one on a Dell XP laptop. We just ran five 16GB cards through it last weekend on our Timefest shoot without any glitches.

Others have reported problems with HP laptops. I have read here of some problems with Macs, but no personal experience. A search will probably answer your questions.

The Duel has worked flawlessly for me over the past year. There are some who've had issues, I suspect it may be a Leopard thing...

Do a search, you'll find lots of info.
