Duel Adapter Alternative

Ah, the devil is in the details - read the fine print:

"Under Mac OS X, Panasonic P2 cards are currently not supported with this adapter."

PC users also have issues.

I've run the Addonic adapter through everything on a Mac from 10.4.10 to Leopard.

Nothing.

what issues are PC users having? I actually just ordered one of these cards for use in my PC, but they're out of stock for a couple weeks... plenty of time to cancel the order. I don't want to buy a buggy card. Can you please elaborate?

Yep. That's what I said.

I worked with the company to try some combinations of drivers from Panasonic and also on Leopard. No dice.

P2 Card in the Picture!

P2 Card in the Picture!

Does anyone else think that it's pretty intersting that the P2 card isn't supported with this piece of hardware but that it is clearly in the picture multiple times? Almost seems like they dont care if it works for what you need it to. As long as they get there money. I bet if you tried to return one they would say "t says in fine print that it doesn't work with the P2 card." Very interesting.

Actually it clearly states that it does support the P2 card

"Great for CardBus wireless broadband card, LAN card, P2™ card, video capture card or any 32-bit CardBus adapter"

it just doesn't work on a mac

I even tried it in Windows XP running Bootcamp on a MacBook Pro.

No luck.

The company isn't as nefarious as you suggest MB72. E mail them with questions BEFORE you buy and you'll get a response.

:( , Sorry

:( , Sorry

I don't mean to sound "nasty". I do see where it says that it supports the P2 card now. What I was looking at was it saying that it doesn't support P2 for mac. Sorry all...
