dual monitor for hvx

my goal is to try to display from a hvx on shoot onto 2 monitors. 1 for accurate color, exposure, and framing for my cinematographer, and another just for frame and picture so i don't have to be hovering over my DP constantly to see what he's getting.

has anybody ever tried one of these? hooking up a good hd lcd monitor like a marshall or panny to the camera and running anothe line to a cheap lcd tv as a dual output?
 
i'll be using the 7 inch panny monitor, my dp owns it and i didn't check if it has it, does anybody know for a fact that the panny can do it w/out this? or have tested?
