What is the timecode frame rate when shooting 24P on the 60D (and immediate family). That is, what frame rate do I set on my timecode slate and recorder? I'm guessing 23.976.
Yes, many sources say that the camera records at 23.976. I haven't fully read the 324 page manual of my 60D (my bad) but I'm guessing it says nothing about a Denecke timecode slate or Sound Devices 702T or post-workflow, so I asked here!
apologies, that sounded unintentionally sarcastic. and you're right, no mention of timecode slates anywhere. We're experimenting with recording t/code on a 60D audio track which should read as an auxilliary timecode track in our NLE - so autosyncing or pluraleyes or whatever your system uses becomes a practical proposition.
