Dslr lens adapters

Picked up a Zeiss/Contax lens for a great price, now I need an adapter for my 5D. Searched the threads but they are all old and out dated. Adapters have changed. So, i was wondering if anyone can recommend a good, inexpensive adapter that they've personally had a good experience with?

Fotodiox market a ton of different solutions. Only poor adapter I've gotten was a M42-to-Nikon F ring... it works, it's just a little fiddly to remove.

I have owned 6 Fotodiox m42-EOS adapters for over a year with no issues. I paid $6 each.

same here, fotodiox-pro, no issues! Also in case anyone needs odd adpaters, "Gadget Infinity" has tons of them. I have bought from these folks more than a few times.

I mostly use fotodiox too, but the cheaper non-pro versions, and I'm happy with them
I've also tried two different ultra-low-cost ebay options (one, M42-to-EOS, the other, Nikon-to-EOS) and I've found them good too (maybe the Nikon one a bit too difficult to get on and off the lens, but I never do that anyway)

+1 for the Fotodiox "no play" adapters (about $60??) The $20 chinese ones work fine, but they're a tiny bit wobbly - the clearances aren't as perfect as the pricier ones.

From there, the price shoots up for adapters with iris control - not something you're likely to need?
