DSLR Cams that Shoot 24fps

Hey guys,
It seems companies are finally understanding the importance of 24p to us indie filmmakers. The 7d is sweet but it looks like we are at the threshold of others coming out that will offer 24p (I wonder if other frame rates will be an option though because i would love 60p too).
Here is what I have so far:
1. Pentax K-x $650 720p
2. Nikon D300s $1500ish
3. Nikon D700x a rumored $3000ish
4. Nikon D5000 $680 720p

this is just an attempt to find a less expensive alternative to the 7d... but saving money might mean lacking quality

I do because cams are automatic to some point,if you test them you can find out when they change shutter speed because they do that when you stop down exposure and stuff like that.
Camera with 24p and lockable auto would be better for me than 30p and full manual. You still can lock the settings like ISO and exposure or shutter speed if you will hunt them ,so its not like its random all the time.
Most film makers care about frame rate thats why they will release 24p for 5D II.

The GH1 is $1500 with lens. (The lens itself is worth at least $800. You could buy the GH1 and sell the kit lens for close to $800.) The 7D is $1700 without lens. Less expensive cameras are, in terms of functionality and design, inferior to these cameras. You might just find yourself frustrated with the usability of the entry-level stuff.
