it looks very similar to redrocks and i believer theres seems to work well so Im with jone5 do it!

YES! Haha, I've been looking for something like this...well, for cheap. This goes on the bottom of a quick release plate right? Or is it this first and then plate on bottom to mount on tripod? Never actually used a rails system, so go easy.

no this is a stand alone dslr mount... it will be one piece of anodized aluminum... and tightens to the rails from the bottom then attaches to the dslr via a 1/4 20 threaded bolt that fits snuggly into the circular hole in the bottom

Hm, am I missing something though? Is this strictly for handheld use then? No shoulder supports or tripods can be used?

Kegan

no the first shot is the baseplate ass it would be on a set of rails the shoulder support would be in the back and the grips elsewhere on the rails...

Nice to see someone using TurbocadMac.

How do you like it? I beta test that software with the developers. V5 has got some of my tools in it ;-)

I am just looking for a good company to make them... probably will be talking to someone this week and sending them out for milling after christmas

Ok, keep me posted. I'm hoping to buy one after New Years if the price is right.

Thanks, look forward to hearing more

It seems to me like the market is already pretty saturated with inexpensive solutions like this one. You're going to have to be REALLY cheap to make any market share dent (like Dave of the $100 follow focus from a year or so back)

but before I can sell anything I am gona have to go through dvx to be sure everything is kosher... don't wana break any rules guys... but thanks for the support I am also working on a 4 rail, rail clamp... and soon will be beginning a wireless follow focus... and it wont be 4k like the varizoom one... then 7D PL mount and thanks for the support guys feel free to suggest anything.
