I've seen your website before as you linked to the IRIS video review I filmed (in a hurry).I've got some info here on different Quadcopters for Aerial Photography. Most of the Guys I know learn to fly with micro quadcopters like the Hubsan X4 H107C HD then move on up to the DJI Phantom range and attach their GoPro's. After that there are some serious kits about espectially Octocopters with advanced gimbals.

More so some of the RC forums are fairly condescending and hostile to video-photographers and newbies in general, too many people with long RC histories with a lot of knowledge that is totally irrelevant to current technology despite this they generally like to argue and be opinionated because they don’t like seeing new people encroach on their territory as they see it.I woud love it too..... Some of the copter forums are very much about the tech and not the filmmaking side. Would be nice to have a place to chat about both in equal measure.
