I have a few ?'s about the Driftwood hack.

1) Can GH-2's purchased today be hacked?

2) Is there a recording time limit when using the hack?

3) Where do you get the hack?

4) Is there a way to uninstall the hack and revert back to the factory firmware?

5) Does it void the warranty?

1) Can GH-2's purchased today be hacked?
Depends on if they´ve been in stock for a while or better said if they come with the new firmware or not. The new firmware is not yet hackable but Vitaly Kiselev is on it.

2) Is there a recording time limit when using the hack?
No, only by card size.

3) Where do you get the hack?

Yes

5) Does it void the warranty?
The understanding here is: If you revert back to original firmware, there´s no way to tell if you ever hacked your GH2.


You could have answered all your questions easily by yourself if you did some resarch here which I highly recommend, as you learn so much more about usage, advantages and classic beginner`s faults on the way.
 
Jack, thanks for the reply; it is very much appreciated. BTW, I do want to let you know that I did search DVXUser for Driftwood and Google for Driftwood and GH2. And I looked at the site personal-view, but it was quite confusing. Thanks very much again for your help.
