A dreary day of footage cut short by the rain. All 7d with Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 and the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. Music is from mobygratis.

thanks so much for the feedback. I really appreciate it. It was a fun little film to put together, I just wish I could have grabbed more footage that day.

Robmneilson:
That's cool that your from these parts. Do you come back out to the island often?

Zazacast:
Thanks, I figured you must like the slides. I actually might be stepping it up to the zazaslider soon. I just have the indislider mini and it gets the job one but it's a little too flimsy and I could definitely use the extra range on the slider.

I only come back a few times a year since I've been living in Brooklyn.

There are a bunch of cool places to film over there though. I got the Caroline Church to let me shoot a scene for my feature in their lot one night.

are you doing this handheld? because the movements is almost perfect... please tell me you're using some sorta steadicam so i won't be too envious! hahahah

Rob:
I don't actually know a lot about that area. I live about 20 minutes away and a friend showed me this section a while back so I went back to do a little shooting. I really wanted to find the bamboo Forrest near there that he showed me but I got rained out.

And the movement was with the Indislider mini. I wish I was that good handheld.

Def go back and shoot in the bamboo forest. I spent many nights there drinking when I was back in high school. There used to be a little horse stable type structure back there that we hung out on until some jagoff burnt it down when I was in college. Some great places to shoot back there!
