Dreamland

Added a BTS photo to the first page. Hope I'm not giving away the farm!
I think you are! I mean.... I can see the farm and everything!

Nice shot!

Oooh, now I'm intrigued. Thanks for posting that shot. Where was this?

Thanks for your interest! That's King Mountain in Gatineau Park http://www.ottawa-information-guide.com/gatineau-park.html

It's an amazing wilderness area just minutes from the nation's capital (Ottawa).

Believe it or not, this was not my first choice location. The one I wanted is much more "pristine wilderness" and less "pastoral landscape". The problem was the distance, one hour and a half away. Didn't have the time on my short schedule.

(But I've got that wilderness location in mind for future projects.)

Cool. Welcome dude.

Love the 10/27 entries :)

Wasn't this one of the scripts from Messenio's Movie Poet.com? Sorry if that's been covered.

I'm really interested in this one. The story is so Twilight Zone!

Thanks, man. I hope so!

Like the story concept and poster. Great concept. Looking forward to it.

Thanks. I can't really take credit for the concept... Please see below.

Yes, it is! I was so impressed by the films in Timefest that used moviepoet scripts, I thought I should look into it myself. There are so many great short scripts there!

This is the first time I've worked with a writer, and it was a very interesting experience. I would recommend all writer/directors give it a try.

"Dreamland" was written by Erich Von Heeder. A talented guy.

Approved! Congrats man! You were last! I'll watch your flick first.

LAST!? It's a good thing I stepped away from my computer. Last time I checked it was down to four: Daily Special, Forgotten, Dreamland and Fate's Way. I was sweating bullets!

I'm watching yours first too, bro!

I'm so glad you found a script you liked; I loved this script as well and I can't wait to see what you've done with it (btw your poster is awesome).

I really enjoyed this film. I loved the original story and I was curious to see how it would translate to the screen.

I thought you did a great job with it. The locations are excellent. I like your shot choices and the different colors you use throughout. I also thought the acting was very good, I particularly liked the cop a lot.

Best of luck with it.

Awesome.

Both the detective and the woman's performance were great.

Loved the score. It creates a great mood and fits perfectly.

Good luck.
