doesnt really matter its loose deadline but try to get it in around that day or the next sometimes there is issues in fact there always is.

I noticed the file size limit for that Fest was 50mb, not 40. I've encoded a nice-looking file of my film, and it's 44mb.

I guess the question is - why are we limited to 40mb this time? maybe because there are more entries now? or maybe because the total running time limit used to be 5 minutes instead of 6?

I could really use 5 - 10 more megs. I just wish it didn't take so freakin' long to encode, only to find out the file is too big. :cry:

oh well . . . rules are rules. I'll get under the limit by tomorrow.
 
The deadline is midnight WEDNESDAY. Normally we want to see your film by the time we get up on Thursday, but Larry's new system will allow us to add an auto cutoff time. Just make sure we got the goods before the sun comes up on Wednesday.:thumbsup:

JEEZ, we were operating all along on the assumption the deadline was WEDNESDAY midnight. There has been a lot of discussion about this too. Looks like we won't be able to make it then because we relied on Wednesday midnight as the deadline.

same here, as with many others. I think everyone is thinking the same way.
 
Deadline is Wed. Midnight, that being January 31st, 1 minute after 11:59pm.

unless this year there isnt 31 days in january?
