Thankx Brandon. I've seen some major talent in this fest . Draco is something to watch on your break. Just to keep things in perspective.

Draco is awesome. It stands up to repeat viewings and gets better every time. (I am not voting but it's in my top five for sure. ) You also win in the two new categories: 'Least Pretentious' and 'Most Damn Entertaining'. The ending is classic too. Cheers
 
Yes this was very entertaining. This movie will probably have the most quotes from it cause its so damn funny. The tree baby was classic.

A few minor tech issues. A second was uploaded but in the heat of things
the wrong one was picked. Understandable. That is more my brothers dept. when he gets off work. Same diff, just compression and a bit of audio sycn stuff. And 1 4:3 crop.

go fishing after killing his bud? In the walk-down-the-road scene, the shooter talks to Mr.Dragon (his/their crime boss) on the phone. They are told to
wait here (at the lay-low scene) until Mr.Dragon figures things out.
Why? THe other guy walking ran out of gas getting them there.It was 6 miles,
but took him 60 because he could not follow directions. Blamed it on
a leak in the tank as well.Also, they are just coming from
a 'job' wherin he also sneezed and accidentally shot a guard.
So now Mr.Dragon want's him wacked. That takes place in the phone
conversation prior to entering the camp but is verbally explained during
the rack scene. So, after killing and dumping him, he needs to pass some time.
Thus, fish.Hunting camp after all.
However, Mr.Dragon is playing them. The shoe tree at the end should be a hint.
What is Paul wearing on his feet?
This story was not meant as a puzzle, but can play that way I suppose.

Many thanks Aram ..Just got off work and thanks to my Bro for anwsering some questions .

The tree scene in which Mr Dragon talks to his pet tree(s) We frigging laughed so hard at times I had tears in my eyes . Mike Follell (Mr Dragon ) jumped in to do this as long as his Dog BO was in the flick , we all agreed ..Bo's in

Despite the first actor leaving after 2 hrs doing a night shoot and leaving us in jam I think it worked out in the end .

You guys have no idea how happy/relieved I am to know this was a comedy. You say that you're not big on it--

I think you should explore comedic shorts a bit more. This was so random, SO freaking hilarious. If we do a Comedy fest I'll be looking forward to your groups entry the most.

When I get my lunch break I'm watching it again. I can't wait to see the tree punch through the out-house wall. That guy in there straight HAULED when it happened.

Thanks This whole bunch of guys work really well together. Can't remember laughing so much while doing one of these .
Showed it to the guys at work last night and they really liked it ...especially the last scene , I still have a smile everytime I think of Mike talking to the tree.lmao
One shot we had of Mike was beyond words really F$%^ creepy and this was a one shot deal .I was just expermenting when I got it . This would of shown how evil he could be BUT Somehow the tape backup over the last 3 sec and we lost it ..Bummer because it was so frigging good .

As for the night shots , I desaturated the greens somewhat . I thought there was too much green for a night look .

One of my favourite Thriller/Horror movies is called DEAD END this was filmed during the night and the night shots are well done , actually one of the best I think .
The House of WAX looked liked they lit a football field , just bad !
Never really have done a night shot to this extent so it was an experience .

Hey, Kholi. Actually, that was one of the reasons for keeping that scene in the first place. It was silly but I thought he handled it welll so I kept it. Also, 1'st time he did it, he smashed his head off the edge of the door and you could here him grunt in pain "oh...f..." as he continued on. Sadistically funny. Made the blooper reel. -gordo.

Edit: Back to films now.

I loved this because it was pointless, stupid, and made no sense. And I think the creators probably made it that way on purpose. Thanks guys!

I think my favorite part is the wild camera shots followed by a completely
lockdown shot of the lead beatin' the sheet out of something... then jogging
off into woods! Hehe! You guys are retarded and I like it!
 
Thankx man. Just taking a moment to make clear that I tried to do the humour serioulsy though if that makes any sense. And it does have a story but takes some thinking. Gladly, most have got.

Acting: Felt like it had a Doc feel to it in places, your lead let me down a little further into it the story.
Script: All over the place but who cares it’s fun!
Direction: Not bad, some fun interesting ideas, the tree was fantastic!
Music: Who was that last metal track??
Editing: A little choppy for my liking, wanted you to stay longer on some shots,
Lighting: Some lovely nighttime stuff here, natural daylight wanted a few flares.
Loved: How you went straight into everything, (makes you think ok…what’s going on here?), the overhead shot, the gunshot blood into camera (nice), great monster, the jump (Yeaahhh!), the truss - loved how you hoisted him up, the devil tree! I want a film JUST about her.
Hated: The fact the table didn’t have any blood on it, some of the gunshot Foley’s (too tinny for me), that you lead wasn’t too frightened when faced with a dead man wielding a chainsaw :) Those leaves have blinded me!! The explosion.
Overall: Boy you threw in everything expected Jason and Freddie to march into the scene. Felt like your fans of ‘Evil Dead II’ think the devil tree was superb:thumbup: , loved those muscles. A fun romp all round.

Acting: In fariness to the actors: The 4 segments making up the short were shot in reverse chronlogical order. The last was shot first. I first met Trevor when we began shooting
the night scenes. Even that was done in halfs. He was never given a full script, just the stuff were were doing that day or night. I think he just had a brief idea of the ending. We basically spent about 15 minutes breifing and went at it.In all honesty, I don't think he had a fair chance to develop the character at all. Just had a basic overview. And come to think ofof it I just probably did a poor job in cutting that.

Script: I concede I just did not get the story properly onto the screen. Of course 'I' understood it but missed the mark in thinking others would get it right off. A lesson learned.

Music: The last track is actually a royalty-free snippet from A 'Digital Juice' CD in the Musical\Sets\Rock folder. I spliced the the drum into off one track to lead into the actual music.

Editing: Again, yes. I overestimated how long the scenes were. So alot was cut and that resulted in the choppiness. There was no blood on the table basically because we were a guest there and didn't want to mess up that table. That was why he had the paper, to bloody that up, and was, but looks like it went somewhere. Hope that helps. Thanks for the comments. Very appreciated. ---gordo
