C100: DP4 Owners: Any way to get Magnification into the EVF?

Hi,

I can get my zebras but not my B&W Magnification, which is inconvenient. Doing everything the manual suggests. Anybody have a work around?

I have an oldier firmware (1.0.0.1.) and B&W Magnification works correctly (I must set on this function at custom function in MENU; if I close LCD then EVF work). I try this function and it works.

Yes I am referring to the EVF in the subject line: The DP4 made by Small HD. I know there are DP4/C100-C300 owners here on this forum and that's why I want to know if there's a setting I'm missing that will allow the magnification to appear in that EVF. I can't see any documentation and the company does not know.
 
I never managed to work the magnification on any external monitors connected to either my c300 or c100.... I do own the dp4, no luck.
 
Hi Guy,

Can you tell me what settings you settled on to get your DP4 looking to match what the C100 is laying down? I never could with my DP6. What I have done thus far, and I realize this is not scientific, I freeze framed in FCPX on my 27"iMac, then freeze framed the same piece of footage on the C100, and played with the DP4 settings and those of the LCD to get them to match what was on the iMac.

I asked zacuto bout this and they told me the c100 doesn#t output the magnified image via HDMI.
so you won't be lucky. doesnt with whatever monitor you connect it.
