Downconvert Greyed-out?!?

Hey all,

I have footage shot in HDV 1080/60i. I need to downconvert and capture in DV but the "Playback Std" and the "HDV Down-Conv" options in the VCR menu are both greyed-out. Have tried several different tapes all with the same problem. AV->DV is off. Same problem if it's on.

Anyone know why this might be happening?

Nevermind, figured it out. The firewire cable needs to be unplugged to change either of these options. Whew...
