C200: Double external monitor

Can I connect two external monitors simultaneously (one via SDI and one via HDMI) to my C200?

No, unfortunately, you can only use one port or the other. This is a limitation of the C200. But if your monitor has cross conversion, you can piggy back off the first and connect your second monitor.

You could get a little HDMI or HD-SDI distribution amplifier for about US$100 or so and feed one Camera output to multiple monitors. Here's a good list of options:

I agree, I had a shoot last year where I stupidly assumed you could do this. It was not a good situation and I did end up using an HDMI loop through monitor but had to run to Frys to get a long HDMI cable instead of just using the SDI output. Not having TC and genlock I get, but handicapping the camera by not being able to use both outputs simultaneously is just punitive.

Even when using the C300mk2 I've experienced similar limitations in terms of what mix of EVF/monitor/outputs you can use all at once together.
