Dots on the image/how to use warranty

I've recently noticed that whenever I stop down past F12 or so on my 60D, small semi-dark dots start to appear on the image. It's definitely not on the lens, and I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to fix it without me having to send my camera in to Canon. I'm not positive that it's the cause, but a few weeks ago a girl who couldn't bother to look up from her phone to see where she was going walked straight into my camera and knocked it over.

When I bought the camera (used), it came with a blank warranty card, how do I figure out if the warranty is still good, and do I need to fill in the Dealer's name?

I don't know what kind of issue you're referring to - if it only happens at narrow apertures, it should be lens-related, right? - if it's dead-pixel related, try this: place the body cap on the camera. Go to M picture mode. Go to menu and look for sensor cleaning. Choose clean manually. Hit ok and wait 30 seconds. Then resume regular use. It will get rid of the dead pixel. http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?201351-uh-oh-is-this-a-dead-pixel-in-my-T2i/page2

I shot a timelapse one afternoon and forgot my extra ND filters. Ran the apurture up to F22 and had dots on the image from dust on the lens. I had never seen anything like it before, but here they are. If you have a filter on and a high apurture you can get dots like these in the sky.

Cheers,
Pete
