does p2 work with mac OS snow leopard (10.6)? how about lion (10.7)?

i know p2 works with mac os leopard (10.5).

but i thought i remembered that early on there was an issue with snow leopard (10.6).

does p2 work with mac OS snow leopard (10.6)?

how about the just released lion (10.7)?

If you are referring to whether you can mount a p2 card in 10.6, the answer is yes.

I've tested the p2 card reader in Lion, and it also mounts.
 
I can not mount my P2 cards in Lion. It has been quite a disappointment, so I have had to go back to my PC, since it is nearly impossible to revert back to Snow Leopard. If anyone knows something I am missing, please share,
 
@Jasonmbrad, you can actually revert to 10.6. If you have a time machine backup you can use your original install disk for Snow Leopard and select the most recent TM backup with 10.6... OR, if you don't have a TM backup, copy your user folder to an external hard drive and do a clean install of 10.6... Did both of those for my two systems and it's working fine. In Lion, I had problems with Final Cut 6, Logic Pro 9, P2 cards, and my Presonus audio interface... Turnis out that Rosetta (powers FCP 6 and Logic) is no longer supported in Lion... shame

I cannot get the Panasonic AG-HPX250P to show up at all, either in FCP 6.0.6, or Premiere CS5 - both Mac-based.

So frustrated i can't even describe it. Ive worked with P2 footage before, and with the Sony Z7U> I'm using LION, and I can't seem to figure it out.

Can anyone help?

If you have the proper drivers, they should show up. How are you connecting? Camera or card reader. If camera, connect via USB.
 
There are drivers for SL and Lion from Panasonic. However the duel adaptor stopped working after SnowLeo :-(
@Hemingway: the HPX 250 comes with a CD-rom with all drivers for Leo-SLeo-Lion

I recently bought the AG-HPX250P and I am running Lion OS. I cannot get the camera to mount. You said you've had success. Can you tell me how? All I get is an error message on the Panasonic that reads "USB DEVICE DISCONNECT". So frustrated. Been fighting with it for days. I've tried Firewire and USB (recommended by the Panasonic support team. Nothing is working. I have both FCP 7.0.3, and Premiere CS5.

I just up dated a spare OS from SL (10.6.8) to Lion (10.7), all works well with FCP7 and P2, I use a PCD2 for ingests that works fine on lion. a painless up-date, only program I lost was Mactheripper, which i did not use often but was handy, and my Cannon MP830 Disc print program, now using Toast Disc print prog.
Have wisely kept a spare HDD with SL as a back-up, and another onboad HDD with a spare Lion Back-up.

I had a new OWC SSD for last 9 months as the OS drive, but it died with no notice, so a back-up OS is vital if your in business.
