Does it sound right?

We might have paid 1500 dollars more, but we got the address, personal phone number extension and the email of our salesperson. The package arrived in two days and we got a followup call making sure that all was well. Can't beat that.

But that could have gone wrong. How easy is it to have give either a false address or a real one that he's not at? Read the ebay ads carefully. Note if there is a blank where the warranty info should be. That's a good tipoff it's not an authorized dealer. Sometimes they hide "demo" in the middle of a long ad and never come out and state it's a demo. It just appears as if they are giving some company info about selling demos. And watch out for false sites that pretend to rate online companies but are run by the companies themselves.

I like www.resellerratings.com.
