Does anyone know if the T2i is able to be used as a Live camera?

[a.visionaree]

I've recently been recruited by a couple I know to help them stream their wedding online.

And I'm just wondering if the T2i is capable of that some how?

I thought I could possibly, go hdmi out to the video port on my mac, but I am starting to think that might not work.

Ideas thoughts?

I'll be using ustream for the live viewing.

thanks for the help.

I did see the most recent episode of the Engadget Show using what looked like 7D's with Zoom H4N's attached. I know they live stream the show and then release an edited version to various web distribution hubs.

I did not watch the Live Stream show, so I cannot confirm 100% but the edited show definitely used that setup.

You can watch it the show here http://www.engadget.com/show#player
